Investment Hotspots

Sunderland is open for business. More than £1.553bn of private and public money is being invested in the city by 2024, an ambitious regeneration programme creating new opportunities in advanced manufacturing, financial and customer services, technology, distribution, retail and leisure. The International Advanced Manufacturing Park (IAMP) opens up 150 hectares of prime development land to the north of Nissan UK. Designated a ‘Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project’ (NSIP), IAMP is a hub for automotive, advanced manufacturing and technology businesses, accelerating economic growth and stimulating private sector investment of more than £400 million.

Partnership working across public and private sectors is transforming the city centre, bringing first class office space, attractive living areas and lifestyle opportunities, including development of the former Vaux brewery site. Build a factory, a distribution hub, or a research centre. Build offices, retail space, or new housing. Build a new future. MAKE it Sunderland.
